These terms are an agreement between you and Faithlink Collective LLC, which operates SubPassport. By creating an account or using SubPassport you agree to them. If you use SubPassport for a company, you're agreeing for that company.
What SubPassport does
SubPassport helps subcontractors keep compliance paperwork (insurance certificates, bonds, licenses, W-9s, lien waivers, 1099 information) in one place, share it with contractors, get expiration reminders, and request renewed certificates from their insurance agent. Contractors use it to see whether their subs' paperwork is current.
SubPassport is a tool, not a guarantee
- Status colors, reminders and dates we read from documents are a convenience. They can be wrong or late. Always check the actual certificate and confirm coverage with the insurer or agent before relying on it.
- We are not an insurance agency, broker, law firm or accountant, and nothing in SubPassport is insurance, legal or tax advice.
- You are responsible for your own compliance and contract requirements.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password safe.
- You're responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
Your documents and data
- You own what you upload. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run SubPassport for you, including sharing it with the contractors and agents you choose.
- Only upload documents you have the right to share, and only share your passport link with people you trust. Anyone with the link can view it.
- When you add your insurance agent, you authorize us to contact them on your behalf to request renewed certificates.
- See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
Acceptable use
Don't upload fake or altered documents, misuse other people's information, try to break or overload the service, or use it for anything illegal.
Plans and billing
- The free plan has the limits shown in the app.
- Paid plans (for example Sub Pro at $14.99/month) renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Except where the law requires, payments aren't refunded.
- We'll give notice before changing prices for your plan.
Availability and changes
We work to keep SubPassport running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop features, and we'll give reasonable notice of big changes.
Ending your account
You can stop using SubPassport anytime and delete your account in Settings › Delete account, or ask us to at hello@subpassport.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and limits
SubPassport is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost jobs, profits, or uninsured claims). Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for important changes, let you know. Continuing to use SubPassport means you accept the updated terms.
